The Koi Fish is a monicker under which I create murals, paintings, illustrations and logo’s. Putting the concept of ‘flow’ at the center of the works I create, I try to capture movement in the stillness of a painting.

Starting out as a graffiti writer nearly 15 years ago, I have always been in love with street culture and spraypaint. I followed my passion for skateboarding to China when I moved there in 2015 and had the chance to really develop my style and voice as asian culture kept inspiring me. Through the skateboarding community of Shanghai, I got in touch with local graffiti writers and street artists and from there grew to spread my style of murals and paintings.
